privacy policy
This privacy policy applies to personal information Patrick may collect through this site, and to other information we may collect in the course of our business.
Patrick recognizes and respects the privacy of the individuals whose personal information it collects, uses and otherwise processes in the course of its business.
Collection of Your Personal Information
Personal information you provide
Patrick collects personal information about individuals when specifically, and knowingly, provided by such individuals for purposes disclosed or otherwise known to them when they actively provide their information to Patrick. This statement applies to all information collected or submitted on this Site. We collect information on the forms that you complete in connection with responses to employment solicitations, invitations to seminars, general inquiries, sending an email which includes personal information, or similar activities.
The types of personal information we collect include: first and last name, address, email address, phone number, age and/or date of birth, and any other personal information the user submits during the course of correspondence with us concerning employment opportunities, seminars, general inquiries, or similar activities.
Providing personal information that Patrick may request from time to time is optional and disclosures are made voluntarily, unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of collection.
We also collect non-personally identifiable information. Non-personally identifiable information is information collected in the normal course of operating our business that does not reveal the specific identity of the user. This data records activity either on this Site or within Site-initiated email. The types of non-personally identifiable information collected include: internet protocol (“IP”) address, information about a site from which you reached our Site, the time spent viewing particular pages of our Site, and whether you clicked on a link we provided on our Site.
Our Site servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address, which is a unique string of numbers that is assigned to your computer by your internet service provider. IP addresses are automatically logged by web servers, collecting information about a user’s traffic patterns. While the IP address does not identify an individual by name, it may, with the cooperation of the ISP, be used to locate and identify an individual using the internet. Your IP address may be used to address problems with our server, administer our Site and/or to gather broad demographic information about users of the Site. Finally, the other websites that you visit have IP addresses, and we may collect the IP addresses of those websites and their pages as well.
Automatic collection of personal information
Patrick’s Site may utilize cookies or other methods for automatically collecting information about how our Site is used. We reserve the right to retain data automatically collected indefinitely. If you do not wish to transmit “cookie” information about yourself, you may turn off the cookie function in your web browser.
You have a right to access the information that Patrick collects about you, and related rights to require your information to be corrected if it is inaccurate, to object to our processing of your information and, in some circumstances, to require us to delete your information or restrict its processing. If you want to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@patrickco.com.
Collection of your personal information from third party sources
Patrick may also obtain some limited information about you indirectly, for example from contact details and information about your role, or from publicly available sources such as the Internet and/or subscription-based services.
We do not endorse, nor are we liable for the accuracy of, the privacy policies and/or terms and conditions of any third parties, including without limitation, those to which we provide links on our Site. You should read the privacy policies of such third party websites to make sure that you agree to their terms and conditions and privacy policies before using such websites.
Use of Your Personal Information
We may use the information we collect about you for purposes which are made clear to you (or which you already know) when you provide your information. Any information that you submit remains your property; however, by submitting that information to us, you grant us the right: (1) to share your information with third party individuals and entities that we employ directly, or as contractors or agents at our direction, for our own internal business purposes only; (2) to use your information for purposes of administering our business activities; (3) to use your information for purposes of providing services to you or fulfilling your requests.
We do not send mailings which are not individually requested or solicited by users of the Site. By submitting your email address at the Site, you agree to receive emailed materials from us.
We also reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, when legal process is served on our Site, if our assets are sold or acquired, or if our company is sold or acquired, or when we otherwise deem it necessary or appropriate. By agreeing to this statement, you consent to disclosure of any record or communication to any third party when we, in our sole discretion, determine the disclosure to be appropriate.
Except as otherwise allowed by this policy, Patrick will not trade, sell, or rent personal information but may collect, or provide aggregate statistics about its websites and their users to other parties who do not provide services directly to Patrick.
Except in rare circumstances where Patrick is required by law to disclose or otherwise process your personal information, Patrick will only process your personal information as necessary for the purposes explained to you when the information is collected or otherwise set out in this policy. Patrick will not collect your personal information unless it has concluded that it has a legitimate interest in pursuing the relevant purpose.
